DESCRIPTION

Sikasil®-715 WS is a silicone-based, 1-component, UVstable, moisture curing, low-modulus elastic weather sealant. Suitable for use in hot and tropical climatic conditions.

USES

Sikasil®-715 WS is designed for weather proofing and sealing applications where durability under severe conditions is required. Sikasil®-715 WS is particularly suited for use as a weather sealant for curtain wall and metal cladding facades.

A primer for gluing tile glue to gypsum board and cement board walls, or a primer for leveling compounds such as Sikafloor

CHARACTERISTICS / ADVANTAGES

▪ Movement capability of ±50 % (ASTM C 719)
▪ Good adhesion to a wide range of substrates
▪ Neutral cure
▪ Low VOC content

An emulsion primer to be applied to gypsum board and cement board walls before using ceramic tile glue or self-leveling compounds on floors and interior walls to mainly reduce substrate absorption and improve adhesion quality.

• Protect the substrate from moisture entering from the tiles
• Ready to use. It can be diluted with water or raw materials, depending on the rate of substrate absorption
• Easy to apply, you can use brush, roller or wipe
• Walls of hospitals, offices and corners with gypsum board and cement board
• Heated floors (water and electricity systems)
